Our Guest speaker Linda Siino from Hope Services will go over the ins and outs of Supported Living and Independent Living services.  Linda became interested in Supported Living Services when she was a Resource Developer for San Andreas Regional Center.   Supported Living Services offers individuals opportunities to have real choice in their lives and services that are long term and individualized.  She currently oversees both Independent and Supported Living Services for 185 individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito Counties as well as parts of San Mateo County.  The Community Livings Services webinar will cover definition of SLS, differences between SLS and ILS, 5 Principles of Supported Living, Referral, eligibility and funding.  It will also cover Person Centered Assessment and a typical day in the life of someone receiving these services.
