Christy Lai joined the Dale Law Firm as an associate attorney in 2022. She received her JD from UC Berkeley and her BA from Columbia University.

Prior to joining the Dale Law Firm, Christy worked at the Pomeroy Center in San Francisco as a grant manager, after volunteering there for years. One of her most memorable projects at the Pomeroy Center was, in the wake of SSI recipients becoming eligible for CalFresh in 2019, providing one-on-one application assistance to individuals to receive that food benefit. Being able to provide person-centered legal services that promote the independence of persons with disabilities, while preserving eligibility for essential public benefits, was the primary reason that she sought work at the Dale Law Firm. She enjoys working with the wide variety of clients that the Dale Law Firm serves and finds working with families of transition age youth particularly rewarding.
