Melissa Riess
Melissa is pleased to join the Dale Law Firm as an associate attorney.
Prior to joining the firm, Melissa spent most of her legal career working as a staff attorney for Disability Rights Advocates, where she represented people with disabilities in class action and impact cases challenging discrimination and seeking to expand access to public spaces and services. Melissa has also worked for the California Department of Justice on healthcare access cases, represented individuals and small businesses in consumer protection class action cases, and worked as an investigator at the United Kingdom’s Health Service Ombudsman.
Melissa obtained her JD from the University of California College of Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
